![]() I once owned & ran a one-man software company and know the struggles. No matter when I sent email he answered so promptly I've wondered if the poor guy ever sleeps. He's worked with me nearly around clock (he's 8 hours ahead of me) over past 1-2 days as I experienced ordering problems. I just wanted to offer this sincerely heartfelt testimonial for Thorsten's excellent product, BUT also greatest praise for his tireless dedication to serving his clients. I still use it on my dying 20" Core2 Duo running 10.6.8, and needed to upgrade so I just bought upgrade to Version 9. I just recently acquired a newer iMac 27" Quad core i5 running 10.8.5 and found that my trusty 3.6.1 finally wouldn't run. I can't even tell you how long but it definitely precedes several years (and many earlier generation Macs) I've used 3.6.1 (or earlier) that is still running and used under OS 9.2.2 on my G3. I am a very long time user of Thorsten Lemke's excellent Graphic Converter product. Thanks for producing such a great program at a very reasonable price. The sponge tool retains the shadows' gradients but removes the brown-yellow cast. I didn't know that what I wanted was to “de-saturate” portions of the image. The sponge tool turned out to be just what I needed. In cases like this, I've learned to browse the GraphicConverter manual, reading the descriptions of the tools in the toolbox. I knew what I wanted to do, but didn't really know what words to use to describe it. I just ran into a problem when I tried to fix up a very old image, where the paper had turned brown-yellow. Your response is quick and right on, forever I think. But your service is the most valuable thing to me. I refer people to you anytime they mention graphic management software. ![]() I use Graphic Converter nearly every day. Couldn't have been easier.ĭon't know what I would have done if you had not been M1 ready! But I didn't have to worry. Went to the Lemkesoft website, downloaded Graphic Converter 11 which I was already using on my "old" machine, pasted in my original license and upgrade license and was up and running. I just got my new MacBook Air with the M1 Chip. I poked around in the manual and was astounded again at the range and depth of features.Įxcel used to be in this class of dependable, logical, capable software. Your software is an integral part of my photography workflow, and I was recently reminded of the depth of features in GC when I decided to use camera RAW settings for digitizing 35mm slides. I’ve not had my problem since the reported crash last fall, but mostly I’m writing to say a big “thank you” for your continuing efforts to maintain and improve Graphic Converter. Yes, I will be converting them to newer formats, Huge amounts of Thank You’s seem insufficient however I will be thanking you for years ahead every time I look at my old photos. With version 11 installed I can see old family photos again and am ecstatic! I have licensed prior versions of GC going back many years but hadn’t kept current for some time. I lost the ability to view most of my old QuickTake 150 camera photos some years ago in the various MacOS version upgrades much to my dismay. I just read in TidBITs that GC version 11 recovers Apple QuickTake pictures and am almost at a loss for words in gratitude. I've been working in the computer business for a little over 50 years and as near as I can tell that's the fastest successful response to a tech support issue that I've ever encountered. Let me add that as best I can remember your reply arrived less than a minute after I sent my question, and downloading and using the software you sent took say 4 minutes so I was up and working normally no more than 5 minutes after I sent my note. ![]() Reaction of the customer to my response to a technical inquiry: I use it less often than I used to, but sometimes I am glad to have this app. I respect the fact that you have continued to support new cpu's and new os's for 30 years. GraphicConverter has been a great help to me. I think it’s the best program ever, and I don’t mind supporting you financially. I wanted to add, the sole reason I know graphic converter, is because my dad add it back in the PPC days. I have never found an app so intuitive like yours, and had always gotten back to graphic converter (to the exception of when I have to rotate a paste because the layer step is a pain and I just do it on Preview where I can rotate a paste item with my 2 fingers) I should have bought the app long before and today I finally did. Just a thank you from someone using your app since he was 10 years old,Įver since I needed a graphic app, including when i was a kid and used the computer of my dad's before year 2000, I'v been using graphic converter.
